Study a course and take a test online
- Find the course you want. Click the All CEs, Nursing, PTs, or Mandatory tab to view course catalogs and select a course.
- Study the course. Read the course online, using the course navigation buttons to view the pages.
- Take the post test. When you're ready to test what you've learned, click the " Take the test" button on any course page.
- Submit the test to see how you scored. When you pass the test, you pay for the class, then you're ready to get your certificate.
- Evaluate the course. Here's your chance to let us and our agencies know your thoughts about the course.
- Pay for CE (CEU) credits by filling out the registration form.
- Print your certificate. If you like, you can also request an official certificate by mail.

Take a course using printed materials (Print and Go)
- Find the course you want. Click the All CEs, Nursing, PTs, or Mandatory tab to view catalogs and select a course.
- Print the course. Click the "Print and Go" button to print the course and test booklet.
- Study the course materials. Everything you need to study and take your test are included in the course booklet.
- Take the test when you're ready. Fill out the printed test page included in the course booklet. (You also can return to the ATrainCEU site to take the test online if you prefer).
- Check your test against the course before you send it in. When we receive your test with 80% or more correct, you are eligible to get your certificate.
- Fill out the evaluation form for the course. Here's your chance to let us and our agencies know your thoughts about the course.
- Fill out the registration form. You may pay by check or credit card. Be sure to fill out the payment information on the form.
- Mail your completed test, evaluation form, and registration form (with your check if you are paying by check) to:

- Once we process your payment, we will send your official CE (CEU) certificate by return mail.
Frequently asked questions
When do I pay for my course?
You can read the course and take the test online for free. If you want to get an instant certificate, you can pay online right after you take the test and print your own certificate immediately!
Can I take the test online, then call you to make my payment?
Yes. You can take the test online, then call us at 707-459-1315 to make your payment. Once we process your payment, we will send your certificate to you by return mail.
How can I pay when I mail in a course?
If you prefer to print the course and send in your test, you can pay by check, money order, or by credit card.
Can I print the booklet and come back to take the test on the site?
Yes. Many people fill out the printed test, then come back to ATrain to get an instant certificate.
I took the test online and printed my CEU certificate.
Can I get a printed certificate suitable for framing?
Yes. To get an attractive printed CEU certificate, send us your name, return address, phone number (in case we have a question) and the name of the course you took. Send that information along with a check for $5 to:
