Nancy Evans is a health science writer with more than four decades of experience in healthcare writing and publishing. She was a senior editor for Mosby/Times Mirror, Addison-Wesley Nursing Division, and Appleton & Lange. A breast cancer survivor since 1991, she has written and spoken extensively about breast cancer issues both nationally and abroad. Nancy co-produced, with Allie Light and Irving Saraf, the HBO documentary film Rachel’s Daughters: Searching for the Causes of Breast Cancer; the KQED documentary Children and Asthma; and the documentary Good Food, Bad Food: Obesity in American Children
